During September 2006 the work will commence on the housing development on the northern end of the Sportcentre land.

Part of this work involves creating a new temporary car park for Sportcentre users. This will come into use in November allowing the existing parking area to be handed over to the Developer.

The Sportcentre will remain open and fully available throughout this period. Construction traffic will be kept completely separate from Sportcentre users. A new entrance to the new car park will be created 10 metres down from the current entrance. The changes will be signposted to avoid any confusion.

The first housing will be completed in Spring 2007
