Senior Members
Here at Harlow Sportcentre, we specifically cater for the requirements and issues that are relevant to senior adults. We provide a gentle introduction to activity through our varied 50+ programme, which includes weekly exercise classes, individual gym programmes and our social club which meets every Monday and Friday.
The programme also provides the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle whilst meeting and making new friends.
All the elements of our senior programme are brought together in an atmosphere that is fun, entertaining and supportive.
A chance to get together with like minded people for support, encouragement and above all friendship.
Full use of all gym facilities, exercise classes, badminton, tennis & outside summer activities during 50+ hours (Monday - Friday 07.00 - 15.00 and all weekend).
A real opportunity to join a fitness centre that offers all of the above regardless of your age and level of fitness enabling you to combine fitness with fun.
ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Gentle Circuits
This gentle circuit class for senior members takes place in the Main Hall. It incorporates a mixture of cardiovascular and resistance exercises. Work at your own level. A very popular class!

Badminton
A unique racket sports session for our over 50 members. A great way to have fun and workout.
Monday 10.00 – 12:00
Social Club
Meet in the Cafe Bar for tea and coffee. An opportunity to make new friends and to catch up with all forthcoming events and outings! EVERYONE is welcome.

Monthly MOTS
Meet in the gym on the 1st Monday of every month and we will check and record blood pressure, breathing, flexibility, body fat and weight.
